  • From Shinjuku and Ikebukuro: 2 hours by Limited Express Spacia Kinugawa or Nikko to Tobu Nikko Station.
  • From Asakusa: 2 hours by Limited Express Spacia Kegon, Liberty Kegon, or Spacia X to Tobu Nikko Station.
  • From Tobu Nikko Station, take the free shuttle bus directly to the hotel. Alternatively, you can take the Tobu Bus bound for Yumoto Onsen and alight at 'Chuzenji Kanaya Hotel Mae', just a short walk from the hotel.

【Day 1】

・Hop aboard the 'Spacia X' Limited Express and arrive in Nikko around 9:30 AM!

・Take a bus and explore the stunning Toshogu Shrine area

・Enjoy a leisurely walk through the British Embassy Villa Memorial Park

Disembark at the 'Embassy Villa Park' and take a short 5-minute walk to the 'British Embassy Villa Memorial Park'. The former British Embassy Villa opened as a museum in 2016, after over 120 years of history.

Inside, you can explore British cultural exhibits, sip on tea, and enjoy scones in the café. Don’t miss the second-floor verandah with sweeping views of Lake Chuzenji, admired by Ernest Satow. For an extra treat, visit the nearby 'Former Italian Embassy Villa' as well. Please note the museum is closed from December to March.

・Enjoy a second cruise on Lake Chuzenji
