Fun Japan Communications, Ltd. (hereinafter, the “Company”) handles and protects personal information in accordance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, the Act on the Use of Numbers to Identify a Specific Individual in Administrative Procedures, and its own policy on the protection of personal information as follows. 1. Purposes of use of personal information
The Company uses customers’ personal information for the following purposes (hereinafter, “Purposes of Use”).
A. Contacting customers and responding to inquiries (including confirming customer identity).
B. Sending e-mails to inform customers about products, services, campaigns, etc. of the Company or of companies that have made requests to the Company.

3. Provision of personal information to third parties

4. Outsourcing of customers’ personal information
The Company may outsource all or part of the business of handling customers’ personal information to third parties for the purpose of packing and shipping products, for the Purposes of Use described in Section 1 above, or for the Company’s business operations. In such a case, the Company will select any subcontractors in accordance with Company standards and entrust personal information only after a confidentiality agreement with the subcontractor is concluded..

(2) The Company may transfer personal information to subcontractors, etc. located outside of Japan after taking measures such as entering into a contract with the subcontractor, etc. that requires it to take appropriate measures for the protection of personal information.
7. Protection of personal information
The Company takes appropriate and reasonable technical and administrative safeguards to ensure that personal information is properly managed and to prevent its leakage, loss, or damage.
The collection, use, and provision of personal information are managed and protected strictly within the scope of legitimate services under the supervision of an information security manager appointed in accordance with the Privacy Policy of the operating company, the Company. The specific safeguards are as follows.

B. Based on these guidelines, these and other regulations regarding the acquisition, use, provision, disposal, etc. of personal information have been established.
C. The Company has established a personal information handling manager position, designates a person in charge of handling personal information in each department, and maintains a system for reporting to the personal information handling manager in the event that a fact or risk of violation of laws, regulations, or rules is detected.
D. Periodic self-inspections are conducted on the status of personal data handling, and audits are conducted by the Company’s Auditing Department.
E. In cases when the Company outsources operations that include the handling of personal information, the Company stipulates in the contract, etc. matters concerning the handling of personal information.
F. Regular training regarding the handling of personal information is held for employees.
G. Matters concerning the confidentiality of personal information are stated in employment regulations, etc.
H. In addition to managing the entry and exit of employees, measures have been established and implemented with regard to the storage and disposal of documents, electronic media, etc., containing personal information.
I. Measures are taken to prevent theft or loss of equipment, etc., including password settings and remote control measures.
J. Access controls have been enacted to limit the scope of databases and other information handled by employees.
K. Mechanisms have been implemented to protect the system from unauthorized external access and unauthorized software.
L. A portion of data containing personal information is stored, etc. overseas after confirming an overview of the personal information protection legislation in the relevant country/region and taking measures such as concluding an agreement on the handling of personal information with the subcontractor.

FUN! JAPAN takes the same careful safeguards with respect to information about minors as it does with respect to information about adults.
However, FUN! JAPAN may require the consent of a parent or guardian when a minor uses FUN! JAPAN’s services.

11. Security of this site
FUN! JAPAN’s services use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology when personally identifiable and sensitive information is being entered as a security measure and to protect the information from interception, interference, and tampering.

The Company reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of this Policy to comply with the Acts and applicable laws and regulations, and for other purposes as reasonably deemed necessary. 13. Governing law and court of jurisdiction
This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. In addition, the customer shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Japan.
