Walking by, I was surprised to see crepes with fillings such as tuna and pomodoro sauce, tuna and mayonnaise, as well as chicken and teriyaki.
My interest piqued, I ordered the chicken and teriyaki crepe from the Marion crepe branch right outside the Moshi Moshi box of Harajuku. After 5 minutes, I am the delighted owner of a savory crepe!
At first glance, the crepes are not quite as appealing as the pictures. My crepe was barely filled, and the lettuce looked slightly wilted and lonely. Taste wise, the flavoring was delicious, but nothing to write home about. However, I would still give points for creativity. It is not every day that you see chicken with teriyaki sauce in your crepe, and this can count as a cultural experience. If you are interested in trying these out, make your way to any Marion Crepe branch in Tokyo.
