This week, let’s learn a very useful Japanese word!
“Doko” (どこ) means “Where?” in Japanese.
It might be a very important word that might help you if you visit Japan !
If you want to ask a place on a map, point at it and just ask someone “Doko desu ka ?”, “Where is it ?”.
For example you can put the name of the place you are looking for and ask like this :
(The place) wa doko desu ka ?
Where is the station ? : Eki wa doko desu ka ?
Where are the toilets ? : “Toire wa doko desu ka ?”
Where is my room ? : “Heya wa doko desu ka ?”
Where is the convenience store ? : “Convini wa doko desu ka ?”
Can you try to make a sentence with “doko” ?
