Today we are going to introduce another interest tings for same pronunciation are used for different meaning. Ikutsu (いくつ) is the word like it. Even though this word has kanji, it is usually written in kana form. Ikutsu (いくつ) in general means "how many". This can also be applied to years to ask "how old".
