Do you know about “mizore” sauce in Japanese food?
“Mizore” sauce is made with grated daikon (white radish) and can be enjoy in many meat of fish dishes like this one with fried cod.
The Japanese restaurant chain shop Otoya has plenty of dishes using “mizore” sauce.
“Misore” sauce in made with grated daikon and is called “mizore” (“sleet” in english) because it looks like melting snow.
Last time I ordered some fried cod, with vegetables cooked in sweet soy and ginger sauce topped with a “mizore” sauce.
The colorful dish is very appetizing!
The grated daikon gives a fresh twist to the fried fish and the vegetables.
It’s also a very healthy sauce since it’s made from vegetables.
It also creates a nice balance with cod which is a very salty fish and the soy sauce.
Similar dishes are also available with fried chicken at Otoya.
It was served with miso soup, pickles and rice.
I choose rice with grains mix.
Why don’t you try some in Otoya?
