[Throwback Article] Dorayaki Quest! Blueberry Jam Dorayaki

※This article was published at December 2014.※

Here is the last dorayaki from the fruit flavored dorayaki line-up you can find at Cando, a 100 yen shop chain in Japan.

We had strawberry or fig dorayaki, but today it’s a dorayaki flavored with blueberry jam!

At first, it looks like a normal plain dorayaki, but inside you’ll find some blueberry jam on the top of the red bean paste layer.

As you can see, the pancake part is becoming a little bit blue as well.

This is the best dorayaki I had from Cando.

The sourness of the blueberry jam is really good to balance the red bean paste.

I want to try to put some more jam on a plain dorayaki at home next time!

Or I can try to put some fresh blueberries also.

What about trying the same in Thai?

Tell us if it tastes good for you!

What is your favorite dorayaki?

You can find this dorayaki in the 100 yen shop chain called Can Do.

There’s a lot of Can Do shops all around Japan.
