Arashiyama Park
Arashiyama is a sightseeing area of Kyoto that is famous among foreign tourists. In Arashimaya, you will see not only the Togetsukyo bridge, bamboo path, and Tenryuji-temple, but also Arashiyama park (Kameyama district), which is a beautiful and fascinating place. Arashiyama park is located on a plain at the end of a valley where the Hozugawa river flows through. To get to the deck, walk to the end of the bamboo path until you see a forked road. If you turn right, you will be able to see some temples or shrines and some cafes. If you turn left, you will see a park with a floor made of stones—this is the Arashiyama park (Kameyama district). Walk towards the top of the slope, which takes about 10-15 minutes, until you see some benches where you can take a break while looking at the splendid view of the Hozugawa river. The water of the river is crystal clear and beautiful and the entire river is surrounded by mountains. This natural view is wonderful!What Can You See at The Observation Deck
From this spot, you will be able see the Sagano romantic train. The train operates only during some seasons, and so it can get really crowded; make sure you come early and reserve your seats! If you miss riding the train, you can still see a great view from the observation deck, which is free and open 24 hours.If you walk a little more, you will reach another deck, which also provides a beautiful and relaxing view. I went to the observation decks last winter. Even though the trees looked dry, the view was still wonderful. You will be able to see beautiful sceneries in Arashiyama all year round. Each season offers a different feeling and experience: Sakura or cherry blossoms in spring, green trees in summer, red leaves in autumn, and white snow (if it snows) in winter. Even if you visit Arashiyama multiple times, I guarantee that you will not get bored

When you go down the slope, you will see Hozugawa river again. In here, you will see many ducks, rowing boats, and benches where you can rest and breathe in nature. Being surrounded by nature and the the sound of the water and ducks can make time seem to pass by slowly and make you feel relaxed, a good break from the busy daily life in the city.
