Leaving Japan from Kansai airport and want to do some more last minute shopping? I have a good recommendation for you! If you are leaving from Namba Station in Osaka and taking the Nankai Airport Express to Kansai Airport with time to spare, do consider getting the Rinku Premium Outlet Stopover Ticket. This pass started recently and is aimed at travelers who want to do a little more shopping before the flight. You can buy it at Nankai Line's counter 1, 2, and 3 in Namba Station.

At the price of 1710 Yen, you will save some Yen and get:

3) A coupon allowing you to spend up to 1000 Yen at the Rinku Outlet Malls

Note that the ticket you get from the Nankai Line counter is valid only for the Nankai Line trains, and NOT the JR trains. Once you arrive in Rinku Town Station, I highly suggest you leave your luggage in the station as it may be a hassle to bring it to Rinku. The walk from Rinku Town Station to the Outlet malls is about 5 minutes.

After you arrive, to exchange your 1000 Yen ticket to a cash coupon, head over to the information counter. You will be given a map, coupon book, and your cash coupon. Now, you are equipped for a day of fun and shopping! In the next part of this series, I will introduce the shops at the Rinku Premium Outlet.
