Time-limited "Harry Potter Cafe" appears in Akasaka, Tokyo!
In conjunction with the stage "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" being performed at the TBS Akasaka ACT Theater in Tokyo, the area around Akasaka Sacas and Akasaka Biz Tower has transformed into a townscape inspired by the world of Harry Potter's magical world. Decorations of objects related to the story are displayed, and you can enjoy the world of Harry Potter with various contents. "Harry Potter Cafe" is one of them. Initially, it was featured in many Japanese magazines and TV shows every day. Even more than a year after its opening, it is so popular that it is difficult to get a reservation on weekends and holidays because you can enjoy a special menu that can only be tasted here in the world of Harry Potter. The atmospheric exterior, which passers-by take commemorative photos of, is also a highlight. By the way, the door facing the street is a fake, and the real entrance is right at the main entrance of Akasaka Biz Tower.
Step into the cafe and you're in the world of Harry Potter
Once you're guided inside the cafe, the logo light projected on the floor is an unmissable photo spot. The interior is filled with the fantasy of Harry Potter's magical world, with meticulous attention to detail, including portraits and decorations on the walls, heavy curtains, and lighting that imagines magic from the oversized Harry Potter wand hanging from the ceiling. There are several empty frames on the wall, and it is said that the design is such that the Patronus (guardian spirit) seems to be freely moving in and out of them. The restaurant has a classical and calm atmosphere reminiscent of a British pub where you can enjoy your meal.
All seats are table seats. There are square, rectangular, and round tables, and you cannot specify your preference. The seating capacity is 50 seats. Up to 4 people can sit at one table. If you wish for a child's chair, you can make a reservation with the desired number included in your request. It is also smooth to include a request for wheelchair access when making a reservation.

From the Hogwarts Cheese Toastie, which is based on the four houses of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, to the Platform 9 and 3/4 Beans and Dragon's Breath Spare Ribs, the cafe offers food that lets you enjoy the world of the series. Reservations at the cafe are limited to a maximum of 4 people. Seat-only reservations are for 80 minutes, and dinner reservations (seat-only/course) are for 100 minutes.
