A visit to the much-talked-about “LEGOLAND”!

“LEGOLAND JAPAN” (commonly known as LEGOLAND) is a theme park inspired by the world famous “Lego Block”. For someone like me who had been silently playing with Lego when I was young, “LEGOLAND” which is full of Lego is a dreamlike place. And now, “LEGOLAND” has finally came to Japan.

Let’s go to LEGOLAND!

To go to LEGOLAND by train, one needs to go via Nagoya Station.

Board the train "Aonami Line" and then get off at the last station "Kinjyofuto Station".

Walk for about 5 minutes from "Kinjyofuto Station" and here's the LEGOLAND!

Let's enter the park.

At the entrance welcoming the guest is Buddy, the official character.

He seems to be the official character of LEGOLAND JAPAN, and one must come here to meet him.

Well, LEGOLAND is basically divided into 7 areas. Where should I go first…?

"Observation Tower" is the highest building in the park. Get to the top and you can have a whole view of LEGOLAND!

You can see the whole LEGOLAND!!! (LEGOLAND is so colorful)

One needs to secure at least 3 hours here!

[MINILAND]

So, finally I am here at the MINILAND, the place that I wanted to go so much!!!

At a quick glance, this look like the "scramble" crossing at Shibuya…

BUT! These are all made by Lego!!!

Don't you think it is crazy? It is crazy, right??? (And all the postures and clothes are all different!!!)

Since I am here, I would like to take the opportunity to introduce the scene to those who haven't been to the LEGOLAND!

Please enjoy as if you are travelling across Japan!!!

First, Odaiba!

Next, Tokyo Station!

And Asakusa…

Tokyo Expressway!!!

Then take a bullet train to Nagoya Castle!

And here is Nagoya Dome!

And look at the other side…

A match is going on!!! And all the clothes and expression seem like different!!!

Osaka! Shinsai-bashi! Glico!

Dotonbori-gawa! The water is more beautiful than the actual!

Kyoto! Full of tourists!

Himeji Castle! It is white as usual!

Sapporo! Snow Festival is on-going!

Shin-Kobe Station! This is the end!

Well, this is just a brief introduction, but don't you think these are amazing????? (There are also other cities, but I have no time to introduce all)

Talking of how much time is spent for the making of the MINILAND, it is said that the professional "Lego Builders" worldwide have spent approximately 2 years for it. "Lego Builder", doesn't it sound cool...

By the way, there are not many people during weekdays, so can slowly spend time here!!!

Let’s play the attractions

First, let’s go into “Pirate Shore”…

There is an attraction called "Splash Battle", of which you can use the water gun attached to the ship and aim at the passengers on other ships or people and treasure chests around the attraction.

*As one can get wet due to the water splash, do not come close if you do not want to get wet.

Then to the "Knight's Kingdom" right next to it…

A jet coaster-like ride "The Dragon”, which everyone likes, is here! (Even though it is small, it was quite scary)

Then the most popular attraction…

The "Submarine Adventure" at "Adventure" area!

Here you can board the dedicated submarine and then proceed through the aquarium which has about 2000 fishes (80 species)! (Of course, these are all real fishes!)

In short, it is "Aquarium×Lego Block"!

Perhaps LEGOLAND is the facility for education while experiencing…?

For example, this attraction called "Driving School". You can experience driving by using the Lego car on the course that simulates a driving school. This is for children aged 6 to 13 years old, and adults are not allowed to ride it.

There are many attractions like this that are for children in LEGOLAND.

Furthermore, at "Lego Creative Workshop", there are workshops where one can learn how to make Lego models.

The program is for elementary school students from first grade to sixth grade. As this requires reservation, please make a reservation right after it opens if you are interested!

Then, what I highly recommend is the "Lego Factory Tour". Here you can see the manufacturing process of Lego blocks!

Here at "Lego Factory Tour", not only you can see the actual site where Lego blocks are made, you can get to know the history of Lego.

Not only kids, adults will also have fun!

What you do not know – way to enjoy LEGOLAND

There are countless of photo spots in the theme park. Please try to look for them!

In LEGOLAND, there are many photo spots that are perfect for an Instagram shot!

There are so many places that you want to take photos that you may even think that "LEGOLAND wants to use up your phone battery!".

Look, Marilyn Monroe is surrounded by the paparazzi in front of "Palace Cinema"…

Taking photo with the "Lego Friends" that are popular among girls…

This is huge than what I expected.

Sphinx that is so large that you may instinctively say "so huge!" may suddenly appear... And inside the park there are many buildings that are built with Lego blocks!

So, this article shares the way to enjoy LEGOLAND. What do you think of it?

What I think is that the LEGOLAND is a theme park that considers about the kids.

One can move the attraction by himself and can learn at facilities such as "Robotic Center". If I was taken here when I was a kid I think I would have been very moved.
