Have you ever come across the word “Ebisu Station”
Do you know what is the origin of that station and why is it named Ebisu?
Actually the big answer is this:
Ebisu Station is named after a beer that was born in Japan in 1887.
The beer is called Yebisu Beer.
This is where Yebisu Beer was born.
Yebisu is one of the famous beers among the other Japanese Beer like Asahi, Suntory, and many others.
These are various kinds of Yebisu Beer Bottle from year to year, the design of the bottles change.
This is the first Yebisu Beer created.
In Japan Beer is called 生ビール（なまびーる）Nama Biru.
If someone were to go to an izakaya, they will order and say 生一杯（なまいっぱい）Nama Ippai, which means 1 Beer.
This was the Beer Tap around the year 1933.
You see! Even Yebisu Beer was introduced in comics in Japan.
