Do you know how to say BBQ in Japanese? BBQ, or barbeque, is called バーベキュー (baabekyuu)
Have you ever had a BBQ party? Japanese people love BBQ party! And I was invited to the event, which was held on Sunday, 2nd May 2015.
The BBQ was held at a place, that is really close from the sea. The place is called 夢の島バーベキュー広場 (Yumenoshima baabekyuu hiroba). The closest station is 新木場駅 (shinkiba station). As you can see from the photo above, you can see many boats being parked by the dock.
Such an amazing scenery. I didn't expect that the place would be this cool.
It was sunny and we are having the barbeque party from the afternoon. I skipped breakfast so that I could eat a lot.
Here is the view from our table. Awesome, right? You know what? You can use the BBQ Spot for free!

It’s said that:
1. There are 40 tables available for BBQ Parties.
You can use them from 8:30 in the morning until 15:15 in the afternoon.
2. You can do the reservation for the place, starting from 2 months before the event.
(Reservation can be done only if there are available spots left)
3. In some cases, you can even use the place directly on that day, if the spots are available.
Just make a call to the number provided before using the desired spot.
Here is a friend of mine taking a nap on the grass after finished eating.
One thing to keep in mind, you have to take care of your own trash. Please keep the spots clean after using them.
There are also sinks made from stones. You can wash your grills and the other stuff there. But you have to bring sponges and dishwashing soap by yourself.
