View from Tokyo Dome Hotel

Hello guys, Navio here!

So on today’s article, I would like to recommend you to this awesome place called the Tokyo Dome Hotel, 6 mins walking from 水道橋駅 (Suidobashi Station), Bunkyo-ku.

Such an awesome place to stay a night!

A friend of mine came for a holiday to Japan, and as a good friend, I became their tour guide for the day.
Their family went with a tour group, but, yeah you know, by joining a tour, means that you have to stay in the group and visit places they have decided for you, Asakusa, Ginza, Tokyo Tower …

From my experience, not all tour have plan that includes Shibuya, nor Harajuku in it.
But we, youngsters, we want to see the Japanese youth! and Hachiko. haha

So long story short, my friend decided to leave the group and went on an “adventure” alone, I mean, with me as the tour guide, of course.

We managed to visit many places in one day.

And because they can’t speak Japanese nor they have internet connection outside the place where they’re staying, I had to deliver them back to their hotel.

They said that they were staying somewhere near the Tokyo Dome.
It turned out that they were staying at the Tokyo Dome Hotel, an enormously big hotel, with 1006 rooms spanning from the 9th - 41st floor (including guest rooms and suites).

This is the view from their room, I couldn’t recall it but I think it was somewhere in the 20-something-th floor.
Amazing, right?

My friend told me to get inside, it’s been a while, so we talked a lot, and then their parents joined in, and we talked again, and their parents left, and we talked again.

Until I realize that it’s already 00:00 !!!

Oh my God, there’s no way I could make it to my apartment in time.

There’s no way I could sleep outside.
Their parents room are in the next room, and my friend and his brother room is another room, with double beds.
I think I did a well-done job as a tour guide, and it was my reward. haha

I had to catch the train as fast as possible, because I had a class to attend on that day, and they had to leave Tokyo to proceed to Kyoto in the early morning.
Before leaving, I looked through the window again, and snapped another photo.
Here’s the scenery.
How breath taking!
The ferriswheel is a part of “Tokyo Dome City Attractions”, I would love to try those attractions someday.
