What Japanese Women Have in Their Cosmetic Pouch! Vol.6 - “30’s Shibuya Office Worker Version”

Today, I would like to share what I’m using for my everyday makeup. I do usually bring my makeups when I go out so I am using this little bag as my portable makeup porch as I leave my main makeup tools at home.

Sunscreen is my most important item to protect myself from UV all year around. But SPF 50 is too strong for daily use so unless I have to be outside all day long, I use SPF30. I am more like the “hair” person than the “makeup” person, so hair wax and hairspray are also in my list of the important “makeup” items.

Here are what I use for my daily makeups. It is simple actually. There was actually a time when during my late 10’s and early 20’s, when I thought having the perfect makeup on was very important. But now in my 30s, I realized having a balanced and natural makeup is all that I need. If I have a perfect eye-makeup, all I need is to put on light color on lip and vice versa, when I use vivid red on my lip, I only need to put on light eyeliner without mascara and no eye shadow. But yes, Eye-makeup is most important part of my makeup eventually. So most of the cosmetic items I have are eye-makeups.

Eyeshadow palette is my favorite item out of all cosmetics. I usually use yellow base that is from It’s DEMO. AUBE couture palette is so easy to apply. You just need to put on the colors as you see on the palette.


My eyeliner and eyebrow are from INTEGRATE. They are not that expensive but work absolutely great.


This is my mascara Dejavu Fiberwig which lasts for more than 10 years and I am still using it.


For my makeup base, I use Primavista primer and foundation. I have an oily face and often sweat a lot, but the Primavista primer stays for a whole day even I sweat a lot at the gym.

When I put on cheek and highlighter I use big brushes instead of the attached brush so it looks more natural. I usually use orange color for my cheek to make my skin looks healthier.

This facial powder is also from It’s DEMO. After I’m done with all of my makeup, I apply it lightly on my entire face. That makes my makeup look natural and the skin tone much more lighter.

I am not a lip person so I usually put only lipsticks with no color or light pink. When I would like my lip to stand up, I use the NIVEA’s rich care & color lipstick. the color come out really good and it also keeps my lip moist most of the time.
