Illumination at Roppongi Hills!

en13

Hi there everyone, Navio here.

So yeah, autumn is finally here.

It is getting colder and colder day by day. Try to get out without a jacket on and "chill" yourself.

Literally chilling.

How I miss the heat of Jakarta. haha

Summer is the best. Anyone else here agree with me? :)

Because of the cold weather, leaves on the trees start to fall.

That is why they also call autumn as fall.

Do you know how to call autumn in Japanese?

秋 (Aki) is the correct answer.

A bald tree might looks awesome under the sunlight,

But a totally different thing under the moonlight.

It is rather creepy, dark, and more negative stereotypes.

Have you guys ever heard of the word "illumination" ?
No, it is not that "illuminati" thing. haha
Illumination means the action of supplying or brightening with light or the resulting state.
Simply said, to light things up, with light bulbs, LEDs, and all the other light-producing things.
Japan is really famous with it's illumination show, usually held around autumn-winter.
There are a lot of awesome spots to enjoy the show.
And today I am going to share with you guys a simple illumination show in Roppongi Hills, which turn the dead trees into bright trees.
When the sky turns dark, the trees will start to shine.
So, I think you should come around 6 or 7.
This illumination trees are located just behind the Grand Hyatt Tokyo, Roppongi Hills, around the main street where many expensive brands' stores, such as Emporio Armani, Louis Vuitton, Michael Kors, and so many others are located on the left and right side of the street.
A free yet expensive view, I should say.

The trees will turn red and blue in some sort period of time. Just wait and take a look.
Taking picture is not prohibited, so yeah, take a lot!
Which one do you like the best? Red or Blue?
