In Japanese bath is called Ofuro (お風呂)

Furo (風呂) here means taking a bath using boiled hot water or hot spring. It can be done in bathtub, bathroom, bath house. There is also kind of bath that do not use any water, such as sand bath and bedrock bath.

Nowadays, one can enjoy the effect and atmosphere of the hot spring just by putting bathing agent to their bath. Many Japanese people enjoy their bath while watching TV or reading.
