Kimono is traditional dress that has been influenced by long Japanese history and culture. The glossy kimono and its beauty are loved by people around the world. From its kanji, kimono is constructed from to characters, ki means “to wear” and mono means “thing”. Literally, kimono means “thing to wear). Its synonym is clothes. However, kimono is different from regular clothes that we know. Kimono is often called as wafuku (和服) or Japanese clothes.
