Benkyo (勉強) Fun! Japan Words vol.52

This week, let’s “Benkyô” (勉強) a new Japanese word.
Did you get it?  
“Benkyô” (勉強) means “study” in Japanese!

“Benkyô” (勉強) is the Japanese word for “study”.
When it’s used as a verb “to study”, it will be “Benkyô suru”.
Put the subject you are learning, then “… wo benkyô suru.”

For example you can say:
I study Japanese.
“Nihongo wo benkyô suru.”

Some people might ask you:
Where are you studying?
“Doko de benkyô shiteimasu ka?”

Let’s try those sentences:

I like studying.
“Benkyô ga suki desu.”

I want to study Japanese.
“Nihongo wo benkyô shitai desu.”

He studies hard.
“Kare wa yoku benkyô suru.”
