Famous for its extremely juicy toriten

The restaurant is located five minutes by car from the downtown of Takamatsu City.
It is a small restaurant not far from the sea.
Teuchi Soba Udon Kura is a reputable restaurant famous among those in the know, located in the center of Takamatsu City.
The small restaurant is always full of people and energy, as well as hot steam from boiling noodles.
Because it was a very cold day when I visited, it was comfortably warm, but it could be a bit uncomfortable on a hot summer day.
Most people visit this restaurant to enjoy the toriten (tempura chicken).
Because Kagawa’s Sanuki udon restaurants always offer udon that are delicious as is, what makes restaurants even more popular is required here.
For this restaurant, it is chicken tempura.

Because of the high popularity of the toriten, they are constantly deep frying chicken tempura in the kitchen while the restaurant is open.
While the kashiwazaru that consists of zaru udon (chilled udon noodles served on a bamboo tray) topped with toriten is also popular, the best dish for the winter is kashiwaudon, consisting of hot kake udon (udon noodles in broth) with toriten.

The dish comes with four large toriten, so it is a sufficiently filling dish.
This toriten can be eaten with salt and pepper, but it is recommended to eat it while dipping it in the hot kake udon.
Although the toriten is juicy enough as is, this will give it a deeper flavor and make it juicier.
Its juiciness makes the udon taste even more delicious.
It both warms up your body and fills your stomach.
You will find it very satisfying!
