We found you a Halal Ramen, among the non-Halal Ramen
Have you ever had a ramen in Japan?? Most ramen in Japan are served in pork-based broth with sake(alcohol) and so they are not halal. So, many Muslims cannot eat ramen, right??
If you, a Muslim, want to eat ramen, then go to this restaurant. This is a vegan and halal ramen. But you need to wait in line.
The following restaurant has just recently been opened and so many Muslims (and also non-Muslims) go get the ramen but the restaurant only has 5 or 6 chairs. Making a reservation in advance is recommended. If not, you might have to wait for a long time.
Menu
They also serve other food like chicken satay and so on. So, you can taste other food too.
Many people order Tsukesoba. It is a noodle served with dipping sauce. Tsuke means “dipping” and soba is Japanese traditional noodle, therefore Tsukesoba. If you like spicy food, try the spicy ramen. It tastes so good. However, this ramen is not that spicy for us because Indonesian people are used to spicy food. But don't worry, here they provide Japanese traditional condiment and it’s quite spicy. I, cannot eat food that is too spicy, so I didn't put the condiment.
The place is in Shinjuku but I recommend you get off at Shijuku-gyoen station, because if you get off at Shinjuku station, it’s a little too far on foot.
