A Good Yakitori Restaurant at Ameyoko, Ueno
This is the experience of eating yakitori in Umaiya Shinpachi Ueno branch. It is located at Ameya Yokocho or commonly referred to Ameyoko. This area located in a small alley, also under the overpass JR electric trains. The atmosphere in Ameyoko was traditional with wood or tent interior. This time I stopped by with my wife and my uncle's family who was on vacation in Tokyo.
Yakitori: The Grilled Chicken
What is the meaning of the word of Yakitori? Yaki is grilled and Tori means chicken. So basically Yakitori is burned chicken. In Shinpachi Umaiya also available in addition Yakitori skewers of cartilage and vegetable skewers, Sashimi, Yakisoba and much more. The menu can be directly viewed on the web www.shin-pachi.com.
We order Yakitori, skewers meatballs, skewers of vegetables, mushrooms, salad, the beef tongue also become a menu mainstay at this eatery. The concept of the shop is Izakaya that tavern. So the food is complementary of drinks, but we better enjoy this food. I think the food like Yakitori easily accepted and recommended for Malaysian.
