Smoked foods have a different flavor from fresh food, very flavorful and delicious.
However, smoking food at your house would require a whole lot of equipment, it’s simply too much.
Plus, I am not even sure how to do it.
Then, I found a solution to this dilemma.
A pack of smoked food mix.
I found it at a supermarket near by my house.
It says on the package that I don’t even have to smoke to make smoked food!
Why not to try it, right?
First, I chose some ingredients I wanted to smoke.
I tried eggs, cheese and salmon.
I was excited to see how they all will turn out!
According to the directions, I put a pack of smoking mix and 50cc of water together in a plastic bag, and then let them sit for 5 to 10 minutes.
I let them sit for longer just because I wanted the smoky flavor to be more dominant.
Surprisingly they all turned out great for how easy it was!
They tasted like I actually smoked them.
Next time, I’ll try chicken, as well as tofu!
I can’t wait to try some more!
