The time passed by, and today is the fifth day i was here in Japan. Unfortunately, i wish to spend more time here but i am satisfied even this only a short time. As usual as early in the morning after had a breakfast, we gathered around the lobby area. Ms. Kazumi Yamaguchi a representative of Fun! Japan Communications, who is guided us to Kawagoe City in Saitama Prefecture located to the northwest of Tokyo. Kawagoe is a town of history known locally as Little Edo, where an old storehouse back in time to ancient of Edo that we had experienced the traditional and pure historical site. We began from the station of Shinjuku to Ikebukuro Station on JR Yamanote Line in 8 minutes with cost ¥160 a trip, then we took a transit on Tobu-Tojo Line where its directly stopped to Kawagoe Station only in 32 minutes with cost ¥470 a trip.

After a moments, we have arrived at the destination as planned. From the Kawagoe Station exit, we took a walked all the way to the main street where the oldest town been located. The street also known as Kurazukuri Street, the most famous and the oldest warehouse are lined up. We walked along its street and i was strucked by the artistic design of the buildings. There are many shops and traditional food kiosks in old style Japanese houses and buildings, where i enjoyed the atmosphere and local sweets such the potatoes ice-cream as well the candies at the lovely area place called Candy Alley. We’ve been also to the place called Toki no Kane, where the most famous symbol of Kawagoe, its a time bell building that used to announce the time since in the Edo period. Me and Alex had discovered the most well known temple in the city called Kita-in Temple where we walking by the street in 10 minutes to the temple. There are also a few a dolls shop that called Hina Dolls, as been told by Ms. Kazumi its a believed that the dolls protect girls from bad luck.

After our lunch, we proceed back to Kawagoe Station for our next visit to Railway Museum that been located in Onari, Saitama City. From the station, we took 23 minutes ride on Kawagoe Line to Omiya Station that cost ¥320 a trip, then transit on New Shuttle to Tetsudo-Hakubutsukan Station in 2 minutes shuttle ride that cost ¥190 for a trip. The entrance fee was ¥1,000 for an adult and ¥200 for the children 3 years and above. From the entrance zone, i’ve been to railcar exhibition which is located a lots of carriages and trains which past and new models, where also the fascinating locomotives, the railroad model and the history of technology and systems from the beginning of railways in Japan. There are also train cab simulators, storage for artefacts and books, a cafeteria, research room and a gift shop in the museum area.

During that night, i had the opportunity to continue on my single journey in Tokyo. I’ve been to most well known communications tower in the district of Minato called Tokyo Tower, where i took a ride from my place of Shinjuku Station on Toei Oedo Line directly stopped at Akabanebashi Station. I was amazed that viewed of the tower was perfectly amazing at night. After a moments, the next was Tokyo Skytree, which is a broadcasting, restaurant and observation tower in Sumida of Tokyo, access from at Oshiagee Station on metro Hanzomon Line or Asakusa Line. It was the last day of our tour by Fun! Japan before we departing back to our home country on the next day.
