When I was in Malaysia, I was able go to the beach with my friends and family whenever I wanted to.
However in Japan, I can only enjoy the pleasure of sea swimming and beach activities during summer.
And it is summer now!!☀☀☀
My friends and I decided that we should have some beach activities together.
And Atami (熱海） located at the Shizuoka prefecture was our choice.
We were told that sea water of Atami is relatively clean and the place itself has many additional facilities such as hot springs and tourist spots compared to other seas nearby Tokyo.
Usually it takes approximately 1.5 hour by car from Tokyo to Atami, but because the day we went there was Sunday, we were caught in the jam for almost 3-4 hours.
Traffic jam was annoying but we were able to enjoy the magnificent view of Atami leisurely!!
An additional bonus, isn’t it?
I always had bad impressions of seas in Japan, but surprisingly Atami didn't seem to be as dirty and black as I thought.
We finally reached our destination - the Atami Kai-sui-yoku-jyo (Atami swimming beach) after hours of traffic jam.
Travelling for so long was quite tiring, but the moment we saw the beach, we felt totally energized and refreshed.
Nature seems to be the best spot to recharge ourselves!

Everyone seemed like they enjoyed the beach very much.
Fortunately, the beach itself wasn’t too crowded, so we were able to find ourselves a good spot and set up our tents.
Even though Atami is a natural and public resource, it is well managed by the officials and there were several rules that people must obey in order to maintain the cleanliness of Atami.
We arrived at the Atami beach around 4:30pm, which is considered quite late.
Because of some safety concerns, the officials only allow people to swim in the sea till 5pm. Which means we had only 30
minutes left!!
This is my first visit to the beach for this year! You can’t imagine how desperate and excited I was to jump into the sea!!
I couldn’t swim but it didn’t stop me from having fun with my beloved friends.♡♡

I enjoy the excitement of travelling to many places, but what satisfies me the most are the precious irreplaceable moments with my beloved ones!
