These flowers, the hydrangea, are representative of Japan’s rainy season.  If you climb down Tenjo-san, after climbing via the ropeway, you’ll see 100,000 hydrangeas in full bloom.  The hydrangeas are pink, purple, blue… stunning with the bright green leaves!

On top of all the gorgeous flowers, you can even go strawberry and blueberry picking around Lake Kawaguchi.  When you visit Mt. Fuji, be sure to check out the beautiful places around Lake Kawaguchi!
