Ishikawa prefecture is located in the middle of Honshu, facing the Sea of Japan. Famous places in Ishikawa prefecture are Kanazawa and Noto. Ishikawa prefecture is known as the kingdom of traditional Japanese arts and crafts, which they have exquisite craftsmanship. Although you might not be able to get there, but you can totally experience its craftsmanship in this antenna shop.

The Ishikawa antenna shop is located in Ginza. You can get there by walking for 4 minutes from the JR Yurakucho Station or directly get there from the No.4 exit of Metro Ginza Itchome Station. The shop has three floors. On the first floor, you can see a lot of confections, condiments, tea, drink, and desserts, etc., which are all from Ishikawa prefecture.

On B1, there is an astonishing collection of liquor from Ishikawa prefecture. If you don’t want to buy the whole bottle, or you just want to try to taste them, there is a little bar, where you can buy those liquor by glasses. Other than the liquor, there are all kinds of seafood from Ishikawa prefecture. Since Ishikawa prefecture is near the sea, it is said that the seafood there is as good as Hokkaido.

On 2nd floor, there are the traditional crafts corner, café and the sightseeing information corner. The arts and crafts of Ishikawa prefecture are displayed. You can see how beautiful and exquisite they are. Even the ceiling has special design, which are the lantern made with Japanese paper- washi. On this floor, you can experience how they merge traditional arts with contemporary items in this modern time.

Back to 1st floor, there are just uncountable choices of food here. Each of them seems extremely delicious, thanks to its beautiful package design. The best seller in this floor is the confection called “Kintsuba”. It is a little baked red bean block. They use one of the best red beans and carefully cook them without damaging the original shape of red beans. And then bake with a thin layer of sugar. I would say that it is one of the best confections to eat with tea!

Another special thing in the Ishikawa antenna store is this golden ice-cream. Since Kanazawa is famous for its gold crafts, the shop is selling this golden ice-cream. You can choose the flavor between pistachio and vanilla. It is actually a simple ice-cream topping with a piece of gold leaf. The gold leaf doesn’t have any extra flavor. It is kind of unnecessary, but why not, you can hold and eat a fancy ice-cream! If you are interested, make sure to visit Ishikawa antenna shop!
