The Biggest “Taro & Meat Soup Festival” will be held at Yamagata at tomorrow 17th September 2017. It is called Imoni-Kai (芋煮会) in the Japanese language. To cook the local dish, the locals use a pot with 6 meters in diameter.

The ingredient used are in huge amount: 3 tons of Taro, 1.2 tons for beef, 3,500 pieces of Konjac, 700L of soy source etc.
Of course, the big pot used to cook those ingredients is HUGE! Even backhoe (heavy construction equipment) is needed to do the set up.
