After breakfast, we left the hotel to Hakata Bus Terminal 3rd floor which is only take about 5 minutes’ walk from the hotel. We waited right in front of the gate that we have to get on. Buses took off every 5-10 minutes so we had to listen and watch carefully because we don't want to miss the bus!
Good things in the bus I like about is that they provide USB socket at every seat so you don't have to worry about phone’s batteries if you have a charger cable.

Spending almost 3 hours in the bus, we finally reached at Nishitetsu Resort Inn, Beppu. The bus stop dropped us next to the hotel. We checked in and left baggage at the reception.
Then we took off for a little hot springs tour by taking a local bus at the opposite side of the hotel.

We rode to Umijigoku bus stop where there are several onsens we can sightseeing at the same time. However, each onsen cost 400 yen to get in but if you pay for 2,000 yen pass, you can get into every onsen for the lower price.
After we discussed, we will only go for 2 onsens we thought interesting and will move to sunayu onsen at another station.
It was already lunchtime so we stop for a while near the onsen where there is a small food stand for something to fill our stomach.
The way up to Oniishibozu Jigoku is a beautiful view fulled with cherry blossom tress because we were there in a sakura season.

Jigoku Yu are too hot to get in but Oniishibozu Jigoku provides visitors feel onsen inside. You just have to take off your shoe and socks. Also a towel or tissue to wipe your legs after finish.

Next is Umi Jigoku. I think this is the most famous one of all. It is surrounded with trees in Japanese styles. It is very fascinating.

Next is Beppu Kaihin Sunayu. It is the different bus stop but all the girls really wanted to come here. It offers beachside sand baths with a view of coastline. Guests wear a yukata, lay down and staffs us shovels to cover them in hot sand for 10-15 minutes.
Working hours of this place is from 8:30 in the morning until 18:00. We reached here at 15:00, but it was already full of customers! Sadly, none of us get a change to get in, but we at least get to see how it looks like.
Men and women can bath together and it costs about 1000 yen including traditional style onsen after the sand bath. Although we didn't get to do the sand bath, next to it has a footbath for free with seaside scenery which some of us went to try.

Thing that cannot miss is to have a famous specialty food in the area. ToriTen(fried chicken) and Reimen(cold noodle) are well-known in this area. After discussing, all want to go for ToriTen so we walked to Beppu station which take around 10 mins walk from the hotel.
