![[Tokyo Disneyland Event Report] Donald's](https://content.fun-japan.jp/renewal-prod/cms/articles/content/IMG6115jpeg_2025-04-11-04-02-33.jpeg)
In April 2025, the fourth installment of "Disney Pal-Palooza" kicked off with a bang at Tokyo Disneyland (R)! Following the second edition, "Donald's Quacky Duck City", Donald Duck once again takes center stage in this latest event, "Donald's Quacky Duck! Duck! Duck City!" We attended the press preview held the day before the event, and as a FUN! JAPAN editor and a huge Donald fan, I’m here to share all the highlights.
On top of that, a birthday celebration event for Donald Duck is set to take place from late May through June, so the entire park will be immersed in Donald Duck's cheerful vibe from spring into early summer!
What is Disney Pal-Palooza?

"Disney Pal-Palooza" is a series of special events held at Tokyo Disneyland. The name "Disney Pal-Palooza" combines the words "Pal" (friend) and "Palooza" (a party where everyone gets hyped), and offers limited-time entertainment, merchandise, food, and more, all themed around various Disney characters. This fourth edition stars the fan-favorite Donald Duck, who brings his unique charm to the park.
Among fans, the event is sometimes affectionately called "Dona-Pal".
Adorable Donald-Themed Limited-Time Food!
Recommendation 1: "Donald's Wacky Classic Set" ¥2,480

This time too, there are plenty of limited-time food items inspired by Donald! At Plaza Pavilion Restaurant, you can enjoy the "Donald's Wacky Classic Set", "Duck Dive Pasta Set", and a "Special Drink (Orange Drink & Pineapple) with Souvenir Coaster".
I had the "Donald's Wacky Classic Set" on this visit, and the hot sandwich topped with egg spread was absolutely packed with cabbage, similar to sauerkraut – super filling!
Last year, I tried the pasta dish, which was incredibly cute with a presentation that made it look like Donald had dived right into it – a must for fans.
Recommendation 2: "Special Drink (Orange Drink & Pineapple) with Souvenir Coaster" ¥1,180

The drink comes topped with a marshmallow shaped like Quacky Duck – absolutely adorable! You’ll receive one of three coaster designs at random. These are also available at Huey, Dewey & Louie's Good Time Café and Pan Galactic Pizza Port.
Recommendation 3: "Special Donut" ¥450, "Special Sundae (Cheese Whip & Mango)" ¥780

Out of more than 20 limited-time menu items, I, a dedicated Donald fan, picked the "Special Donut" and the "Special Sundae (Cheese Whip & Mango)".
The "Special Donut" features colors that remind you of Donald, with a standout red bowtie made of chocolate! The little yellow bits are popping candies that burst in your mouth, said to express Donald’s playful personality. You can get this treat at Rackety's Raccoon Saloon and Royal Street Veranda.
Back again this year, the "Special Sundae (Cheese Whip & Mango)" looks like Donald has dived right into the cup! The fluffy white whip cream even resembles Donald’s cute little tail. It’s a refreshing mix of cheese-flavored whipped cream, blue jelly with a pineapple taste, and mango chunks – perfect for the warm season ahead.
Bring Donald's Energy to Life with Special Goods!

Among the special merchandise, the wearable items really caught my eye. There’s a 2D-style ribbon that looks like it popped right out of an illustration, plus costume-like accessories such as a detachable collar and a beret so you can channel Donald’s look. Try wearing some blue and white clothes and adding these items to your outfit for a fun day at the park.

There’s also a bunch of goods featuring "Quacky Duck", Donald’s fan community. The "Gwa-Gwa Stick", which makes a sound like Donald’s voice when you shake it, is a must-have! You can even get accessories to customize your Gwa-Gwa Stick and make it your own.
Highlights and Stop Locations for the Parade "Quacky Celebration★Donald the Legend!"

The daytime parade "Quacky Celebration★Donald the Legend!" lasts about 35 minutes and takes place once or twice per day. The start time changes depending on the day, so be sure to check the official website.
The parade route and stop points are also listed on the official site. There are six floats in total, and they stop within the yellow line areas shown on the map. During our visit, the floats rotated twice in front of Cinderella Castle and stopped in the same spot both times, so we got to enjoy the performance to the fullest.

Donald rides on the sixth float. Daisy Duck starts off on the second float but hops onto the sixth one midway through the parade, so you can catch them together in the second half.
The best spots to watch are in front of Cinderella Castle or near the Walt Disney statue – you can snap some awesome photos of the floats with the castle as a backdrop. Disney Premier Access (DPA) is also available for this parade (*1).

♪ During the part of the song that goes "Quack Quack Quack, our hero", everyone joined in with beak-like hand gestures to pump up the energy of the parade.
The Park is Packed with Donald-Themed Photo Spots

Hunting for Donald-themed photo ops is another fun part of the event. As soon as you enter the park, you’re greeted by a flower bed designed with Donald’s face. When we visited around noon, the entrance area wasn’t too crowded, so guests could take their time snapping photos.

Behind the flower bed, there’s a decorative object shaped like a fountain.

There are tons of Donald and Quacky Duck decorations around the park, all with Cinderella Castle as a stunning backdrop!

Even the benches, manhole covers, and trash cans have been transformed with Donald-themed designs.

My personal favorite as a Donald-loving editor is the mirror installations. On social media, many people were posting photos of themselves reflected in the mirrors – super fun and creative.
Be sure to keep an eye out for more Donald-themed decorations throughout the park!
"Donald's Quacky Duck! Duck! Duck City!" Runs Until June 30, 2025!
"Donald's Quacky Duck! Duck! Duck City!" is happening through June 30, 2025. From Thursday, May 29 to Monday, June 9, the park will feature special decorations and menu items to celebrate Donald Duck’s birthday on June 9 (Monday), so don’t miss out!
