What is Tokyo Disneyland’s "Disney Pal-Palooza"?

 (C)Disney

Disney Pal-Palooza is a special event series that began in 2024. The term "Pal-Palooza" combines "Pal," meaning "friend," and "Palooza," which conveys the idea of a lively party for everyone. The concept is all about "having the best time playing and celebrating with friends." Fans often refer to the event simply as "Pal-Pal."

What is "Vanellope’s Sweets Pop World"?

Following the first installment featuring Minnie Mouse and the second starring Donald Duck, the third theme of Disney Pal-Palooza is "Vanellope’s Sweets Pop World."

Vanellope, a character from the movie Wreck-It Ralph, is a talented racer and princess from the racing game "Sugar Rush." She’s a curious and adventurous girl who loves exploring new and exciting things. This Pal-Palooza brings her imagined world of candy to life, transforming the park into a whimsical land filled with adorable sweets. Around the World Bazaar area, you might even catch a faint whiff of sugary treats in the air.

Interestingly, a Wreck-It Ralph attraction is set to open in 2026, making this Pal-Palooza feel like a sweet teaser for what’s to come!

Highlights and Stop Locations of the Daytime Parade "It’s a Sweets-Full Time!"

When taking photos with friends or cast members, try the Pal-Palooza pose! One person says "Pal!" while forming half a heart with their hand, and the other person says "Palooza!" while completing the other half of the heart. Together, your hands form a heart shape.

Our FUN! JAPAN editor gave it a try, but the heart shape turned out a little lopsided... How did we do?
