New Year's Greeting in 2024 (C) Disney

From January 1 (Wed) to January 13 (Mon), 2025, Mickey and Minnie Mouse and other Disney friends will appear dressed in traditional Japanese attire, riding colorful floats decorated for the New Year, celebrating the arrival of 2025 in style.

New Year's Greeting in 2024 (C) Disney

From January 1 (Wed) to January 13 (Mon), 2025, Mickey, Minnie, and other Disney characters will greet the New Year while dressed in Japanese-style outfits, appearing on beautifully adorned boats.

Get a Limited New Year's Card

From Thursday, December 26, 2024, to Monday, January 13, 2025, guests visiting the park can receive a special "card" featuring a "daruma" design from cast members. Write down your wishes or goals for 2025 and carry it with you for inspiration!

Admire the Festive New Year's Decorations

Starting Saturday, December 28, 2024, Tokyo Disneyland's World Bazaar entrance will feature a traditional Japanese kadomatsu decoration with Mickey Mouse in traditional attire.

At Tokyo DisneySea, the entrance to MiraCosta Street will also be decorated with a kadomatsu displaying images of Mickey and Minnie Mouse, creating a celebratory New Year's atmosphere.

Grab Special New Year's Merchandise

Both parks will begin selling special New Year-themed merchandise on Monday, December 2. The lineup includes plush badges of Mickey and Minnie Mouse dressed in elegant traditional Japanese outfits, as well as collectible items like can badges and pin badges that you can attach to bags and other accessories.

Additionally, items such as bowls and chopstick sets designed with Mickey and Minnie Mouse as daruma figures, and a shimekazari will be available. Traditional Japanese sweets inspired by Mickey and Minnie in daruma designs will also be offered as part of the "Tokyo Disney Resort Frozen Selection."

In anticipation of the 2025 zodiac animal, Snake-themed plush toys and plush badges featuring Mickey, Minnie, and other Disney friends have been on sale since Thursday, November 14.


Please note that the lineup of special merchandise may change without notice, and items may sell out or be discontinued during the event period depending on stock availability. Additionally, some products may continue to be sold even after the event period ends.

* "Tokyo Disney Resort Frozen Selection Daruma Sweets" can only be purchased through the Tokyo Disney Resort app by guests with a same-day park ticket to either Tokyo Disneyland or Tokyo DisneySea. These items will be delivered via frozen shipping.

Enjoy Special New Year's Menus

Kinako mousse & milk jelly 550 yen Plus 650 yen with souvenir cup

During the New Year period, exclusive menu items will be available at Tokyo Disney Resort.

Starting Thursday, December 26, a dessert featuring a souvenir teacup with Mickey and Minnie Mouse in traditional Japanese attire will be offered at Tokyo Disneyland's "Sweetheart Café" and Tokyo DisneySea's "Zambini Brothers’ Ristorante." This dessert consists of milk jelly topped with kinako mousse, shiratama (mochi balls), and mitarashi syrup for a distinctly Japanese flavor.

"Resu Toran Hokusai" Miscellaneous Bowl. You can change from the miso soup set with your meal for an additional 400 yen.

"Restaurant Sakura" Miscellaneous Bowl. You can change from the miso soup set with your meal for an additional 700 yen.

From Wednesday, January 1, to Sunday, January 5, guests can also enjoy a limited-time ozoni (Japanese New Year soup). Tokyo Disneyland's "Hokusai Restaurant" will serve a light and refreshing yuzu-flavored clear broth version.

Meanwhile, at Tokyo DisneySea's "Restaurant Sakura," a duck meatball ozoni featuring sakura-shaped wheat gluten and grilled mochi, served separately for an elegant presentation, will be available. Guests dining at these restaurants can opt to replace their set meal miso soup with ozoni.

Special Menus at Disney Hotels

Yearend & New Year Stylish Kanna 16,500 yen

From December 26, 2024, to January 13, 2025, Tokyo Disneyland Hotel, Tokyo DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta, and Disney Ambassador Hotel will feature special holiday-themed dishes and drinks.

At "Canna" in Tokyo Disneyland Hotel, guests can indulge in the "Year-End & New Year Stylish Canna" dinner course, featuring appetizers inspired by traditional osechi dishes, including black beans and herring roe.

Year's End & New Year's Empire Grill Dinner 13,300 yen

The "Empire Grill" at Disney Ambassador Hotel will offer the "Year-End & New Year Empire Grill Dinner," which includes a selection of appetizers and main dishes, complemented by desserts using kinako and matcha for a Japanese flair.

Yearend & New Year's Dinner Set 18,000 yen (for 2 people)

Guests at Disney Ambassador Hotel can also order the "Year-End & New Year Dinner Set" to enjoy a luxurious meal in the comfort of their hotel room.

*Please note that menu offerings are subject to change without notice.

*The Empire Grill "Year-End & New Year Dinner Set" is available exclusively for hotel guests and must be consumed in-room. It will not be available on Tuesday, December 31.

Celebrate on the Disney Resort Line

The Disney Resort Line will offer two types of special-edition free tickets featuring designs of Mickey and Minnie welcoming the New Year with the sunrise, as well as daruma-themed Mickey Mouse illustrations. These will be available at ticket vending machines in all Resort Line stations while supplies last.
