Japanese apricot or ume flowers in Aviation Memorial Park (Koku-Kinen Koen) Tokorozawa City, Saitama Prefecture, have started to bloom. Japanese apricot flowers that are here have not been fully blooming, but probably about 50% of flowers are already in bloom. In Japan, the more famous flower is the cherry blossoms or sakura but the Japanese apricot flowers that have a pink and white flowers are also not less beautiful than sakura. In this park, there is an area where there are many Japanese apricot trees, and next to it there is a small artificial river, and the atmosphere here is perfect for a picnic. Because it is still in February, the air was still cold, but when the sun came out and the weather is sunny, it will feel warm. For children's playground is also available, therefore it is suitable if you come with your family.





On holiday, in the one of area this park, sometimes flea market has opened. In the specified area is lined traders that selling wares, clothing, daily necessities, toys etc. at a cheap price. Tokorozawa Aviation Memorial Park, was formerly a first aircraft manufacturing in Japan. Therefore, in the park area, there are also aviation museum.







In the museum, exhibited various types of aircraft in the past, Japan Self-Defense Forces helicopter, pilot uniforms etc. When I visited there, there was held exhibition of French tourism. We can try to sit in first class plane seat which was once used in about the 1990s. For me who have never used a first-class flight, this experience is very interesting. It looks like always hold some event in this place, in accordance with the theme of the exhibition at the time, then we will never get bored for a visit. In the area of the museum, also provided space for children, so while having a rest, children can draw or color the image on the paper with colored pencils that have been provided.
