The Kominato Railway "Kiha 203" is a train car that operated for 57 years, starting on April 10, 1963. With its exterior blending seamlessly into the rural landscape of Ichihara City, Chiba Prefecture, it became a beloved icon among railway enthusiasts. In April 2023, the car was transferred from Kominato Railway Co., Ltd. to Lake Takataki Glamping Resort, where it was initially preserved as an exhibit. Now, this nostalgic train car has been transformed into a unique accommodation, offering a special stay experience not only for railway fans but also for families, friends, and couples.
