【April 2025】ONE FUKUOKA BLDG.

One of the highlights of the "Tenjin Big Bang" redevelopment project in central Fukuoka City, ONE FUKUOKA BLDG. (nicknamed "ONE BLDG."), is located at "1-11-1 Tenjin, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka." The development concept is "Creative Crossroads ～meets different ideas～." This multipurpose building integrates commercial, business, and hotel spaces to provide new experiences and perspectives. Approximately 120 stores and restaurants are expected to open in ONE BLDG.

B2 and B1 Floors

The B2 floor will feature stores offering organic and natural products, cafes, dessert shops, take-out eateries, and a drugstore. On the B1 floor, two distinct dining zones will take center stage. The first, "Tenjin Norengai," will bring together renowned local establishments and popular restaurants from across Japan. The second, "iiTo TENJIN," will offer a cozy space where visitors can enjoy dishes from six diverse, celebrated eateries.

1st to 4th Floors

The 1st to 4th floors will house a wide array of shops, including fashion, cosmetics, sports, and lifestyle goods. On the 1st floor, a new casual restaurant collaboration between Tsuyoshi Fukuyama—recognized in "Asia’s Best 50"—and the team behind the iconic Royal of Fukuoka Building fame will open. Additionally, from the 1st to the 3rd floors, one of Japan's largest maisonette stores for luxury brands will make its debut. Featuring firsts for Kyushu and Tenjin as well as new concepts, ONE BLDG. promises a truly unique lineup.

Located within the "ONE FUKUOKA BLDG.," Fukuoka Tenjin Tsutaya Books is designed for adults passionate about their interests, with the concept of "a store that connects to the future." This bookstore offers a wide selection of books and lifestyle goods, hosts pop-up shops for limited periods, and organizes events. It’s a hub for discovering new lifestyles centered around books.

In addition, the store features the largest SHARE LOUNGE in Kyushu. 【April 2025】ONE FUKUOKA HOTEL

Opening at the top floors of "ONE FUKUOKA BLDG.," ONE FUKUOKA HOTEL offers a serene, modern Japanese aesthetic with large windows and open spaces, creating a liberating atmosphere.

The hotel features a spacious public bath with panoramic windows, allowing guests to relax while admiring drifting clouds or night views. Located within the newly established "HULIC SQUARE FUKUOKA TENJIN," a landmark complex in the Tenjin district spanning 19 above-ground floors and three basement levels, The Gate Hotel Fukuoka by HULIC occupies the 9th to 19th floors.

【March 2025】Fukuoka Airport International Terminal

Following expansion and renovation works that began in May 2022, the international terminal at Fukuoka Airport will officially reopen in March 2025. This upgraded terminal includes enhanced security check areas, departure and immigration facilities, duty-free shops, a food court, and immigration counters, transforming it into a more convenient and appealing facility.

Departure Duty-Free Shop

The departure duty-free area has been expanded to four times its previous size and redesigned as a walkthrough-style shopping experience. At its center, a decorative Japanese-style tower creates an elegant ambiance. Visitors can browse a wide range of tax-free products, including fashion, cosmetics, and alcoholic beverages.

Food Court

Next to the duty-free area, a new food court featuring eight restaurants offers a chance to savor Fukuoka and Kyushu cuisine before departure. With 295 seats, the dining space has tripled compared to pre-renovation levels.

Arrival Duty-Free Shop

A duty-free shop has been introduced in the baggage claim area, allowing arriving passengers to purchase tax-free items such as liquor and tobacco.

Security Check Area

The security checkpoint has been expanded, and smart lanes have been implemented to double processing capacity and alleviate congestion. Additionally, the terminal will introduce Kyushu's first "priority lane," enabling eligible travelers to bypass regular queues for expedited security checks.

【New Area Opening in March 2024】Fukuoka City｜Marine World Uminonakamichi

The Kyushu-themed aquarium, "Marine World Uminonakamichi", recreates the charm of the sea from all seven prefectures. With exhibits such as sea lion and dolphin shows, and aquariums housing about 350 species and 30,000 marine creatures, it's a must-visit aquarium.
