The target areas are Ishikawa, Toyama, Fukui, and Niigata prefectures. The subsidy rate is up to 50% per person per night for accommodation, with a maximum of 20,000 yen. Packaged tours that include transportation costs such as Shinkansen and highway buses are also eligible for discounts. If you stay for two or more nights in the same prefecture and purchase a package tour, the maximum discount per person is 30,000 yen. For tours that include stays in two or more prefectures, the maximum is 35,000 yen.
※The Noto region is considering implementing up to 70% travel support depending on the recovery situation.
Also, each prefecture will also offer support discounts.

Period
Hokuriku Shinkansen's Kanazawa to Tsuruga section will open on March 16, 2024 (Saturday), starting from that day until the stay on April 26 (Friday). However, please note that the application will end when the budget reaches 9.44 billion yen.
Can foreigners use the Hokuriku Support Discount?
This time, the Hokuriku support discount has no residential restrictions, so it can be used by foreigners as well.
How to Apply
You can make a reservation at a discounted price through the travel booking site participating in the campaign, travel agencies, or the homepage of the accommodation facility. As it is on a first-come, first-served basis, we recommend checking regularly.
Points to Note
There are no plans to issue regional coupons, but Toyama Prefecture is planning to issue its own coupons. The current plan under consideration is to distribute electronic coupons (1,000 yen to 3,000 yen) that can be used at restaurants and souvenir shops to travelers to Toyama Prefecture from March, separate from the Hokuriku Support Discount.
Please note that these cannot be used for day trips.
