The "OMO7 Osaka by Hoshino Resorts" that we are introducing this time is a hotel where you can experience "Naniwa Luxury", a combination of Osaka-like hospitality incorporating "laughter" and "meddlesomeness", and a sophisticated space and high-quality service. Osaka has been popular for rakugo and manzai since ancient times, and the people of Osaka also value "laughter" in their daily lives. In addition, Osaka is known as a "city of humanity", and it is often the case that shop staff and passers-by provide more than necessary service to customers and passers-by. This action is called "meddlesomeness" (おせっかい / osekkai), but it shows the depth of the feelings of the people of Osaka who want to take care of others.

The exterior of the hotel building is covered with 5,265 sheets of white film, which contributes to the reduction of solar heat load through envelope heat insulation and the mitigation of the heat island phenomenon. According to verification results comparing with the case without the film, it was able to reduce the amount of solar radiation entering from the windows by 30-45%. Also, in "PIKAPIKA Sparkling NIGHT", about 13,000 LED lights, including indirect LED lighting, are adjusted and shone onto this exterior film, showing it as an image. Unlike typical projection mapping, the feature of this is that the light is applied indirectly, so the light source does not enter the eye, resulting in a soft appearance.
