【Nakameguro】STARBUCKS RESERVE® ROASTERY TOKYO

Nakameguro, centered around the Meguro River, one of the best cherry blossom viewing spots in Tokyo, is packed with street-level apparel shops and cafes.

About a 15-minute walk along the Meguro River from Nakameguro Station, the four-story "STARBUCKS RESERVE® ROASTERY TOKYO" appears. It is one of only six Starbucks in the world that have a roastery (roasting machine) inside the store, and it is the only one in Japan. Furthermore, Tokyo was the first place where the design and construction were done from scratch, and the architecture by the world-renowned architect, Kengo Kuma, is also worth seeing. The exterior is luxurious!

The highlights of STARBUCKS RESERVE® ROASTERY TOKYO are these!

The interior of the store, which is like a coffee theme park, has a different theme on each floor, and there are plenty of attractions everywhere.

For example, on the 1st floor "STARBUCKS RESERVE®", there is a "MAIN BAR" where you can sit at the counter and enjoy coffee as soon as you enter, and you can enjoy conversations with baristas equipped with coffee expertise and skills. There is also a "COFFEE SCOOPING BAR" where you can get large roasting machines used for coffee roasting and coffee beans.

In the center, there is a copper cask that functions as a coffee bean storage tank and stands 17m high. Its towering figure that spans up to the 4th floor is breathtaking!

The 2nd floor "TEAVANA™ BAR" is a tea-specialized floor focusing on black tea and Japanese tea. The tea menu, which expands the new possibilities of tea using Uji matcha and Kaga stick roasted tea, is lined up. You can buy your favorite tea leaves by weight.

Also, on the 3rd floor, you can enjoy the view of Nakameguro from the open terrace of 'ARRIVIAMO™ BAR' (pictured left), or watch the coffee beans being bagged at the 'COFFEE PACK LINE' on the 4th floor (pictured right)!
