【Maruyama Zoo Highlight】
The Maruyama Zoo is one of the most nature-oriented zoos in Japan. Its philosophy is to recreate the natural habitat of the animals so that they will act according to their natural instincts. The most popular attraction in this zoo is its polar bear exhibit. You can also find animals indigenous to Japan and Hokkaido such as Japanese snow monkeys, white-tail eagles and wolves, not to mention animals from other parts of the world: tigers, primates, red pandas, giraffes and more.

【Maruyama Park Highlight】
The park is located in the western part of Sapporo, Hokkaido. The park expansive grounds include the Maruyama Wild Forest, a Japan natural treasure. It also has numerous sports facilities such as a public field, baseball stadium, and baseball diamond.You can see many squirrels, wild birds, and plants in the park.

● Spring: Hanami, enjoying cherry blossom (end of April / beginning of May)
● Autumn: enjoying momiji (in the middle of October until beginning of November)
