If you are looking for some fun in Kanagawa then Yokohama Cosmo World is the perfect place to find it. This amusement park sits in the middle of the charming Minato Mirai part of the city and dominates the skyline thanks to its amazing giant Ferris wheel attraction.
Yokohama Cosmo World sits at the mouth of the Ooka River where it juts into Tokyo Bay, and there is both an island and a mainland section to the amusement park, that are connected together by a bridge. As such, the entire park is located on the water, which is one of the reasons that it is so well known for its beautiful views.
Park Fees:
One of the most amazing aspects of Yokohama Cosmo World is that it is free of charge to enter. That means that you can walk around and admire the scenery here without paying anything at all, which makes it a far cheaper option that its competitors such as Disneyland in Tokyo.
With no entrance fee, visitors only have to pay for the rides that they go on, or the attractions they visit. There are rides for all the family, and for younger children you can expect to pay around ¥300 to ¥500 per ride. For adult rides the fee is around ¥700.
The pricing of the rides mean that you can carefully budget for your trip here and you get excellent value for money as you only pay for the rides you use, so if you just want a quick trip here rather than a full and exhaustive day, then this is a great venue to come to.
