Where is Kyushu and Okinawa area?

Kyushu and Okinawa area consists of eight prefectures- Fukuoka, Saga, Nagasaki, Kumamoto, Oita, Miyazaki, Kagoshima, Okinawa. Kyushu is an island situated in south west Japan; and Okinawa is at the westernmost point of Japan. Inbound tourists to the Kyushu and Okinawa area usually make come through Fukuoka airport (Fukuoka), Naha airport (Okinawa),and Kagoshima airport (Kagoshima).

  • Remarks:

Okinawa Route Bus & Yui Railway

  • Price: 3,000 yen (1 day) or 5,500 yen (3 days) (both are for adults)
  • Validity: 1 day or 3 consecutive days
  • Area(s): all route buses on main island of Okinawa and all stations of Yui railway
  • Remarks:
    • You might need to show your identifications (location of stay or return air ticket) for purchase.

Okinawa Prefecture: Bus Mono Pass

  • Price: 1,000 yen (adults)
  • Validity: 1 day of use
  • Area(s): Naha bus specified area with the same fare and all stations of the monorail
  • Remarks:
    • Not applicable to other areas in Nara-city and buses of other transportation companies
