Sankeien Garden: Beautiful cherry blossoms with Three-Story Pagoda of Old Tomyoji
Sankeien Garden is a beautiful garden with seventeen Japanese old buildings reconstructed from Kyoto and Kamakura in the site. The beautiful garden is dotted with about 300 flowers such as Somei-Yoshino, Yamazakura, Oshimazakura, and Shidarezakura. The viewing season is from late March to early April. During "cherry blossom night viewing", sun sets and illumination is lighted up. The fantastic night cherry blossoms can be quietly admired in the background of the Three-Story Pagoda of Old Tomyoji.

Yokohama Minatomirai 21: Cherry blossoms with stylish buildings
"Yokohama Minatomirai 21" is a city where stylish buildings line up. Along " Sakura-Dori Avenue, 103 Somei-Yoshino trees decorates the street of office buildings. Besides, many visitors lay a sheet on the lawn and view cherry blossoms in their own style at "Kishamichi Promenade" and "Unga Park". The viewing season is from late March to early April every year.

Mitsuike park: Appreciate the long-lasting cherry blossoms for 2 months
Mitsuike Park is a park surrounded by various types of trees known as “Forest of millions of trees”. There are three large ponds in the extensive site with 78 types of Somei-Yoshino and 1,600 cherry blossoms blooming around the ponds in spring. You can see rare cherry blossoms such as Ukonzakura and Yokohama-hizakura as well. The viewing season starts in February till mid-April. It is a famous spot where you can enjoy beautiful cherry blossoms when they are in full bloom or starting to fall.

During the cherry blossom season, it is recommended to go to a restaurant where you can view flowers while having a meal. It will be even more impressive if cherry blossom acts as a motif of the food served. In addition, Yakatabune Dinner Cruise, a unique dining place in Japan, is recommended as you can look at the cherry blossoms from the sea or river during a meal.
Yokohama's hotel with a view of cherry blossoms
During the cherry blossom season, staying at a hotel room where cherry blossoms can be viewed is often tempting. However, we would like to recommend a hotel which runs fairs related to cherry blossoms such as "Hanami(cherry blossom viewing) Tours" and "cherry blossom sweets fairs". Access to Yokohama from airport
Narita Airport
If you go to Yokohama from Narita Airport, you can use either JR Narita Express bound for Ofuna or an Airport Limousine Bus without transferring.
Haneda Airport
If you go to Yokohama from Haneda Airport, it takes about 30 minutes to arrive by train or bus. Using the train is convenient if you want to stop along the way. If use Airport Limousine Bus, you can have a view of the Yokohama Bay Bridge and the sea.
