Yoyogi Park is the venue of every kind of festival you can ever think of. From international festivals like Brazilian, Thai, Indian, Turkish, to the domestic, you’d see a hot party taking place every weekend. Main features of these festivals would be the food, but others including shopping or artistic performance will definitely keep you entertained.

Due to the fairly young demographics of the city, Yoyogi Park has become the center of youth culture for decades. Now, you can see many graffitis around the park, as well as skateboarders everywhere. But that doesn’t mean that there are a lot of smuggling going on, the park is quite safe, just like any other part of the city.

3. And The Performers As Well

The park is also the center of all amateur musicians living in Tokyo, where you’d see many bands and artists performing. Though the numbers have decreased in recent years due to a new law passed regulating amateur musicians from performing without the consent of the city, you’ll still see many performers with guitars or even some eccentric oriental instruments practicing around the area.

4. Simply Have Some Quality Time By the Pond

You’d see people lying down, taking a nap, or reading books by it. It’s surely one of the few places around the megalopolis where you’d find true quality time for yourself.
