Hello friends, I am back with the second part of my 100 Yen shop challenge! Today, I will bring you to Seria, a shop more specialized towards DIY and home decoration items, although it does sell daily necessities like Daiso. Seria’s company tagline is “Color the days”, and has been around since 1987! Currently, there are about 1,248 shops across Japan. Seria is more local and as far as I know, have not expanded to other countries. Hence, do take the chance to visit it in Japan if you can.

I visited the Seria store in Shibuya, located on the 7th floor of Shibuya Marui O1O1 Jam. With its selection of delicate, French themed DIY materials ranging from wrapping papers to baking supplies and scrapbooking items, Seria was definitely targeted at young women who are aiming to be classy while thrifty. In addition, there are also many kitchenware items that are too cute to be missed.

After browsing around for 1 hour, my picks for this shop are:

Most value:

Massage items. These home beauty supplies usually cost a lot more than 100 Yen back home. Although they are made of plastic, I am sure they will still do their job of helping you become beautiful.

Least value:

This bobblehead solar powered bear toy. Despite it being solar powered and rater adorable, I foresee this being tossed after a few months.
Let me know the most and least value item that you found in Seria!
