What Japanese do during HANAMI?

Ohanami ni Ikou! 
Let’s go for Hanami!
Hey guys! 
Vanessa Here. 
Have you ever went to a garden for Hanami.
If you stay in Japan, I think you’ll never meet someone who hasn’t gone to Hanami before.

But, do you guys know what they do during Hanami?
You can see from the Kanji :
花(はな)Hana = Flower
見る(みる)Miru = See
花見(はなみ)Hanami = See Flower
They go for a Hanami means that the go to see the flowers.
Here is what friends and family here in Japan do. 

Buy Drinks, either non alcohol or alcohol drinks but usually Ocha = Tea
and Snacks of course!

They will sit down on a mat or carpet, gather with friends and family chit chat and enjoy the scenery of the beautiful sakura tree. ^^

From babies to adults and elderly, they gather together around. 
It’s a really good moment to have a conversation to have fun and just see the flowers.
That’s is what spring is all about right??
