Origami is one of the traditional plays and craftworks in Japan.
It's an art of paper folding. Many kinds of paper crafts (animals, flowers, vechelcles etc...) are made of only single square piece of paper. Japanese would be familiar with this traditional one because we often learned it in childhood. Nowadays foreign travelers for Japan are interested in it for souvenir.
The beautiful and soft touch paper would fascinate them.
Today let me share some Origami craftworks and how to make them.

Origami papers are on the desk. It’s easy to get origami paper in 100 yen shops.

I suppose that how to make a nightingale is similar with the crane as below

I can take the photo with other paper crafts. (A nightingale with on the tree)

Ooops…I suppose that it isn’t easy to make them this time.
This Nightingale was so hard to make for me… It took 30min for only one fist creation.

How can you make it? I recommend that you make it of papers on hand. (Although You've got to cut single square piece of paper.) If you come Japan for fun, You can get it easily in 100yen shop or stationery store. Next time we will arrange to introduce another craftwork.

We are glad that you are interested in Japanese traditional culture just a little.
