This week let’s learn one of the most useful words in Japanese!
You’ll hear it absolutely everywhere, it’s “Kudasai” (ください) which means please in Japanese.

“Kudasai” (ください) is a word used to say “please” in Japanese.
It’s usually used in the end of a sentence.
Let’s see some examples:
In a restaurant:
“O-mizu kudasai”
“Can I have some water please?”
In a shop:
“Kore wo kudasai”
“This one please”
Asking if there’s someone when entering a house:
“Gomen kudasai”
“Anyone here?”
You can also use is after a verb when you ask to do or not to do something.
“Koko ni o-namae kaite kudosai”
“Write your name here please”
“Suwatte kudasai”
“Please have a seat”
“Hashiranaide kudasai”
“Don’t run please”
As you can see, “Kudasai” (ください) uses are endless!
