Hello everyone, how is everybody doing?
On Thursday last week, me and my school mates were told by our teacher to research about the historic spots of Japan in Tokyo.
Tokyo doesn’t mean the whole Tokyo City, I mean Tokyo Station area in the capital city of Japan, Tokyo.
Here is what I found.

NIJUBASHI BRIDGE 二重橋(にじゅうばし)

NIJUBASHI BRIDGE what is that?
Of course, through the name you can tell that that is a bridge.

NIJUBASHI BRIDGE where is that?
It is located in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo right beside the Imperial Palace.

This bridge is actually a legendary bridge.
This bridge connects the main gate of the Imperial palace which is called the Ishibashi Main Gate 正門石橋(せいもんいしばし)to the Imperial Palace itself.

This is how the main gate of imperial palace looks like.

The Palace is guarded twenty four seven (24-7).
It is possible for tourists to take a photo from the front, but you are not allowed to go beyond those gates except for 2nd of January which is New Year’s Greetings and 23rd of December, the Emperor’s Birthday.

This is how the Nijubashi Bridge looks like.

Nijubashi has really a lot of history, and is really famous among tourists.
So, I really recommend you guys to visit this beautiful bridge and not just this beautiful bridge.
If you turn 180 degrees from this bridge, you will see this.

Isn’t it amazing? :)

I fell in love with Tokyo already~~

P.S Nearest train station to this bridge is JR Tokyo Station. Around 10 minutes walk.
