Do you like to travel? Or do you like to go to an adventure? Do you like to see beautiful scenery of nature? I bet everybody wants to do these kind of stuff, don’t we?
There’s one place in Japan where I would really like for all of you to know and visit.
Do you know Nagano?
If you see it in the map, it should be on the top left of Tokyo.
It is fairly near Tokyo, so you can actually take a bus from the capital city, maybe around 2-3 hours.

The picture above is the Heart Shaped Lake called 北竜湖（ほくりゅうこ）/ Hokuryuuko.
This beautiful scenery can only be seen in Nagano.
It is a popular destination for short vacations throughout the year.
During spring there are beautiful cherry blossoms, green trees that bring a cool breeze during the hot Japanese summer, which turns red and orange as autumn approaches, and the breathtaking snow during winter.
I went here during summer this year.

You can even ride a boat, go canoeing, and many other activities.
How about meditating?
My friend did a lot of meditation here, feeling the great nature around her in this quiet healing spot.
It is really relaxing, trust me.
Try to imagine the smell of the lake, the trees, you can hear birds singing and the wind howling.
If you’re looking for somewhere to just relax, feel the nature, listen to this island nation’s voice, now you know where to go.
