100 Yen Shop Challenge : Halloween Special

Hi, Navio here.

So, I’m also up for the 100 Yen Shop Challenge! Here’s my review on the most favourable and the least favourable item you can find in a 100 Yen Shop.

I chose “meets” as my shop, and since it’s October already, I will pick my item based with a theme, the best holiday in October.
Halloween!

Talking about Halloween, of course, costumes.
Why buy an expensive costume (which unfortunately you’ll only use for only once in a year) if you can get many options by spending less money.
That’s like, a win-win for me.
Inside ‘meets’, there is this special aisle that’s changing depending on the season. I think most of the 100 Yen Shops in Japan have this kind of corner as well.
It turns into Christmas props in December, summer goods in summer, and so on.

My pick is the head accessories!

Why?
Because from my experience on celebrating Halloween in Japan in the last two years, people tend to ask for photos with small / large groups with same costumes or accessories.
Are you going to celebrate this Halloween with friends?
You should propose the idea first, give them options, and simply buy same items for the group.

And my pick for the least favourable item for this Halloween is located right next to the head accessories,

These coasters.
It is true that they look cute, but the coasters I know are thicker, and most of them are made of cork or something like that.
I am not a big fan of cups and coasters, but I think they’re thick for a reason, right?
To protect the surface of the table, and to absorb condensation dripping from the drink.

In my opinion, these kind of coasters look like that they won’t serve their purpose that well.

So yeah, that’s my pick for the challenge!
Any suggestions? :D
